Zoe Davison selected for senior Europeans

For all of you training daily, struggling with tiredness, set backs and wondering if it’s worth it let Zoe Davison inspire you to keep going. Zoe has been a brand ambassador for Ahead For Life and we are delighted to see her succeeding in selection. There have been times along the way when she has felt like giving up, that the pressure has been too much or regime too regimented and has had to restart training after enforced time off. She has shown huge resilience and determination and we wish her every success next Wednesday 7th August at the Europeans being held at Bath University, please support if you are able - go Zo!

Ahead For Life sponsored athlete Zoe Davison wins Gold with Charlie Follett at European Championships!

Yesterday Charlie (team mate) and I were crowned European Champions in the Women’s relay. It is honestly the most rewarding feeling running over the finish line first with your countries flag in hand, standing at the top of the podium listening to your national anthem with one of your favourite girls beside you! 
So without saying anymore I have certainly learnt about the lows and the highs this week and I think fair to say I managed to turn myself round in 48hours. I am of course grateful to Charlie for a solid performance. 

Briefly summarised day:
Swim: 1:03secs (Charlie) 60secs myself
Fence: 13 victories (Charlie) 11 victories myself
Ride: both clear
Run.... well we stormed it!! 

Massive thanks to all back home, without whom none of this would be possible.
